ABOVE: Beamer is a 6 year old Peruvian Paso who
had experienced severe abuse as a yearling at the hands of strangers.
His dedicated owner tried everything to regain his trust, but he was not
about to let people near him again. It took the better part of a
month just to touch him, weeks more to halter him. He would lead
only from horseback until the his trust and confidence grew. After much
work and patience, he finally overcame his many obstacles and faces a
more promising future.
